Laura Fox’s Italian Honeymoon Is Giving Us Serious Monday Envy

Not jealous at all

Laura Fox looked to have the most gorgeous mini-moon in Sorrento, and we’re not jealous at all!

The 2fm presenter tied the knot to longterm partner Brian Moran earlier this month, with a lavish Italian wedding that looked absolutely beautiful.

The couple wed beneath the sun surrounded by friends and family, before heading off to Sorrento for a very much deserved break.

Summarising the trip, Laura said: “Sorrento. A great spot if you want a base that’s close to visit Positano, Almalfi, Capri etc and we did all that the last time but this time was for LYING DOWN.”

The coupled stayed in the Grand Hotel Capodimonte while in the city.

Laura gave a break down on the accommodation, detailing what she loved – and didn’t love – about the hotel.

“Pros: the pool was absolutely class, it’s built like a waterfall so there was plenty of room for everyone. Loads of kids having a ball but if you didn’t want to be right next to them you didn’t have to,” she wrote.

“Loved it! Room was fab, spacious, nice balcony, air con and they changed out your towels morning and evening. 5 mins walk to the town and at the bottom of the hill. Lunch was great and drinks were 10/10.

“Con: breakfast wasn’t the best. Just one egg station for pretty much the whole hotel and they were just really oily. We ate there twice because the views were unreal but went into town the other days.”

One egg station is never enough…

Laura and Brian also visited restaurants Fuoro 51, Taverna Dell’800, O’Parrucchiano, La Favorita, and Pizzeria de Franco while in Sorrento, as well as Irish bar Chaplin’s for a little taste of home.

170 people joined Laura and Brian in Italy for their big day – the second time the couple wed after a legal ceremony in Dublin.

After the big day Laura thanked her husband… and even teased a third wedding potentially on the horizon…

She said: “My HUSBAND, B Balls! I love that you just take the reigns in organising anything and everything in our lives (the man loves a spreadsheet) so much so that most of the wedding was a surprise even to me.

“You’re everything to me and I’m SO excited about wedding no.3!” she teased.
