4 Bloggers Share Their New Year’s Resolutions And How They’ll Be Sticking To Them
What do they hope to achieve in the coming year? Four of our favourite Irish bloggers share their goals for 2016.
Rosie Connolly
Resolution:
“My New Year’s resolution is to learn how to cook.” says Rosie from Hearts, Heels and Handbags . “I really just don’t enjoy cooking but I want Harry [Rosie’s one-year-old son] to try lots of different foods as he is developing so my stepdad has vowed to teach me a new dish each week until I have an array of lovely meals I can cook for the family.”
Plan for sticking to it:
“I really love my food, and it’s a lot easier to stick to something you enjoy. I’m hoping with my stepdad’s help I will be able to stick to it!
Kassiani Cheirogeorgu
Resolution:
“My New Year’s resolution for 2016 is to get out of my comfort zone,” says Kassi from Just Kassi “This year I decided to do things differently and push the boundaries so I can reach my goals. Even if these goals are to be fitter, or be healthier or grow my brand and blog, these can only be achieved if I decide to get out of my comfort zone.”
Plan for sticking to it:
“I plan to reach my goals by adding an extra gym session to my week, adding more fruit and veg to my diet and by making that phone call or sending that email that I have been constantly postponing.”
Erika Fox
Resolution:
“My New Year’s resolution is to do more traveling here in the US throughout 2016,” says Erika from Retro Flame.”I found my feet here in New York in 2015 and now next year I’m determined to see more of the US.”
Plan for sticking to it:
“Each month, I’m going to put away a certain amount of money to put towards travel and I hope to go somewhere new each month.”
AJ Fitzsimons
Resolution:
“My resolution for 2016 is to incorporate fitness into my healthy eating lifestyle,,” says AJ. “I find it unsustainable to decide to both start eating clean and joining the gym, you’re more than likely going to give up on both within a few weeks.”
Plan for sticking to it:
“Well, once you’ve got into a good balanced routine you need to incorporate fitness depending on your goals, so I’m going to start the gym under the guidance of a PT and incorporate it into my lifestyle.”
