Need! Here’s The €15 Foundation Blake Lively Used For The Met Gala Last Night
It's not available in Ireland yet though *sob*
Blake Lively might have ignored the “Fashion In The Age Of Technology” theme at last night’s Met Gala, but there’s no denying she looked downright breathtaking all the same.
Dressed in a flowing pink gown with red floral embellishment on the train and neckline, Blake looked oh-so glamourous, with just the teeniest hint of a baby bump on show under her gown.
And while the actress’s Burberry gúna is well out of our price range, her make-up kit slots right into any normal Saturday night budget.
Blake stuck to products from L’Oréal Paris for the evening – she is one of the faces of the brand, after all – and went for sultry dark eyes, defined lashes and a bold red lip.
Celebrity MUA Charlotte Tilbury was on hand to create Blake’s red carpet worthy look, and used the actress’s signature L’Oréal lipstick shade, created as part of the Colour Riche Collection Exclusive range.
According to L’Oreal’s official Instagram page, Blake’s foundation was the brand new True Match Lumi Cushion, a liquid foundation in a sponge-like cushion, for coverage that can be built up using the puff applicator.
The foundation retails at $16.99 (just under €15), but sadly it’s currently only available online from the US and Canada.
However although the applicator is different, various beauty bloggers have said the formula is extremely similar to the bottled version of the L’Oréal Lumi Magique Foundation, which can be bought on Irish shelves.
Phew!
We’ll definitely be re-creating this look for our next red-carpet event. Or a cocktail night with the girls, whichever comes first…
