‘A Handful Of Lies’: So This Is Why Gigi And Zayn Split Up And Then Got Back Together

So, it’s official. Despite a brief split earlier in the month, Zayn and Gigi are firmly back together. Gigi confirmed it last week when she publicly declared her love for Zayn on Twitter after he suffered an anxiety attack that left him unable to attend his appearance at the Capital Summertime Ball.

They were also spotted hand-in-hand in New York City earlier in the week, leaving absolutely no doubt that they’re back on.

But now that the couple are looking happier than ever, we have to ask, why the split?

Well, according to a source it was on account of Zayn’s bad behaviour.

“They were fighting all the time and Gigi caught Zayn in a handful of lies and couldn’t take the mystery anymore, so she dumped him,” the source tells People.

While the source doesn’t specific exactly what Zayn did wrong, they do say that it wasn’t enough to make the break up stick and that Zayn has “kept incessantly apologising and wanted another chance.

“Gigi gave it to him, and now he’s determined to prove himself to her,” the source adds.

As for the couple’s future, the source says it’s uncertain. “Everything’s good at the moment but things could change overnight. Zayn is really going to need to continue to prove himself to her. Otherwise, she may not stick around,” they say.

Will Zayn stay on his best behaviour? We guess only time will tell.
