‘Proudest Woman’: Kerrie Harris Shared The Sweetest Tribute To Her Boyfriend Robbie Brady Last Night

The Irish stands at Lille were a mess of emotion last night as fans celebrated Robbie Brady’ 85th minute goal against Italy, securing Ireland’s place in the next stage of EURO 2016.

One picture that’s been shared hundreds of times this morning is this snap of Robbie hugging his girlfriend Kerrie Harris, who couldn’t hold back the tears after watching him head the ball into the net.

Taking to Instagram last night, Kerrie, who runs the Soul2Sole Dance Academy in Swords, said she was “literally the proudest” woman in the country.

As for Robbie, he told RTÉ shortly after the match that scoring the winning goal against the Italian side was “the best feeling in the world,” adding, “I grew up waiting for this stage, dreaming about it since I was a little kid.”

Robbie and Kerrie have a two-year-old daughter Halle, who has also been in Paris to cheer on her father and the rest of the boys in green.

“We were quite young when we started dating – 15!” Kerrie told STELLAR in our May issue. The couple say they have quite a normal life at their home in England, where Robbie trains with Norwich city.

“With Robbie’s career, he has to eat well, so he does a lot of cooking,” Kerrie said.
