What are your first thoughts when you look at this pic of Victoria Beckham kissing her daughter Harper?

It’s just a cute pic of VB showing affection to her kid, right?

Well, some internet users have taken offense to the photo, saying that it’s inappropriate for a parent to kiss their child on the lips.

The pic which was posted on Harper’s 5th birthday was branded ‘horrible’, ‘disgusting’ and ‘pervy’.

One commenter writes “Ew sorry I’m old fashioned it looks like they making out”, while another added “It is strange to kiss your parents on the lips. Stop saying to other people it isn’t if they think it is because guess what they aren’t the only one.”

Um, really?

Thankfully, the backlash has since sparked a heartwarming response with many parents sharing pictures of themselves kissing their kids in support of Victoria.
