What To Drink 14th July 2016 by Paula Lyne
Yaaaas! That Skinny Prosecco Is Finally Available To Buy In Ireland – Here’s Where
Just in time for the weekend, too.
Back in April, Ireland’s Prosecco fans (and there are a LOT of us) rejoiced with the news that low-sugar Prosecco was finally a thing… before glumly accepting that while it was indeed a thing, it wasn’t an available-in-Ireland thing.
Thankfully, that has changed, with one Irish retailer confirming they’re now stocking the Skinny Prosecco that got everyone so excited back in April.
From today you can order Thompson & Scott Skinny Prosecco from Wines Of The World, an online wine store.

Wines Of The World’s tasters describe the new fizz as “light and refreshing” with “floral and apple aromas on the nose.” Sounds like a winner to us… and it has 50% less sugar than standard Prosecco.
Before you get all excited though, there are a few caveats to keep in mind. Firstly, a bottle of Thompson & Scott’s low-calorie bubbly will set you back €24.99, so it’s definitely one for special occasions. Secondly, Wines Of The World require a 6-product minimum order to qualify for delivery, so you’ll either need to order a whole lotta Prosecco or combine your purchase with an order of some other wines from their selection.
Once you do order though, delivery is free and takes just 1 – 2 working days. Definitely one to keep in mind for your next girls’ night in…
