MIC’S Rosie Fortescue Tells Us The Three Statement Pieces She’s Shopping For Autumn/Winter 2016
We find out what reality star and style queen Rosie is adding to cart this season.
Rosie Fortescue is a woman who dresses for her mood and one word that springs to mind when describing her style is ‘varied’.
In fact, she says it herself, telling us that “sometimes I’ll dress very feminine and other days I won’t want to wear a dress and I’ll opt for something completely different like a tuxedo suit.”
Right now, she’s in town from Thursday to Sunday taking part in Arnotts Style Sessions event and on Saturday she will host fashion shows at 2.30pm and 3.30pm to share her style secrets with customers.
Naturally we had to catch up with her to find out how she’d be transitioning her wardrobe into autumn/winter.
Here’s what she’s shopping…
Jumper dresses
They’re a classic piece and for good reason, as Rosie explains. “I wore one when it was a little bit colder that had ruffles on it that was super cute and they’re nice for this sort of weather,” she tells us. “They’re comfortable too if you’re tired.”
Got it. We’re off to buy this one…
The mid-season jacket
“Jackets are a great, great investment piece,” Rosie tells us and we’re inclined to agree. Judging by her website she’s a big fan of the bomber. We’re keen on this one in particular…
Updated blouses
Forget boring plain shirts, Rosie’s a fan of detailing, telling us that she’s really into shirts with added eye candy and loves pussy bow blouses right now too. “There are loads in stores at the moment with badges on or with really nice ruffles,” she adds.
You know what? We’re off to invest in a few riiiight now!
