Here’s Every Shade Of Lipstick Candice Has Worn On GBBO So Far
Strong lips, star bakes, soft heart.
Mary Berry’s floral bombers might once have been the biggest pop of colour on the Great British Bake Off, but this year there’s a new contender: Candice and her perfectly lined lips.
Since Week One, 31-year-old PE teacher Candice has brought killer lip game to the show, proving she can work everything from a deep plum to a pillarbox red. If Star Baker was awarded solely on vibrancy of lippie, Candice would win it every damn week.
Here’s your rundown of every shade our fave strong-lipped baker has worked on GBBO over the last six weeks – plus a few hints on where to buy the colours for yourself.
Week One
Candice served up a Raspberry Drizzle Bundt for Cake Week, but went one better with her lippie, rocking a deep plum.
Want to try it out yourself? Our pick is Kevyn Aucoin The Expert Lipcolour in Poisonberry, €35.
Week Two
For Biscuit Week, Candice went with a vibrant magenta shade. Oh, and she took home Star Baker for her gingerbread pub. NBD.
For a copycat look, we recommend Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips in Electric Poppy, €30.
Week Three
Her Dampfnudel may have fallen flat in the technical challenge of Bread Week, but Candice kept to her “red for bread” promise, going all out with a cherry pout.
DIY her lippie with NARS Sheer Lipstick in Manhunt, €26.
Week Four
For Batter Week, Candice opted for magenta again, and her expressions were pure TV gold. WORK THAT POUT.
Week Five
It was back to the tried-and-tested plum in Week Five for three pastry challenges, and another Star Baker nod for Candice and her Sausage, Black Pudding and Apple Rounds. Win!
Week Six
A rare slip-up here, when Candice toned down her lips and went with a nude shade that just *didn’t* work for her.
If you reckon you’d have better luck, try Lipstick Queen Sinner Lipstick in Bare Nude, €27.
