Oops! Ashton Kutcher Just Accidentally Revealed The Gender Of His Second Child

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis announced via their rep back in June that they were expecting a second child, a baby brother or sister for two-year-old Wyatt Isabelle.

Since then, the pair have been relatively quiet about their impending arrival, and given how hard they worked to control the media attention surrounding Wyatt’s birth, we weren’t expecting to hear any updates from them at all.

However Ashton bucked the trend somewhat during an appearance on the TODAY Show this week, revealing his second child’s gender live on air. This was no Big Reveal though; instead, Ashton mentioned the MASSIVE detail pretty casually during conversation.

When asked by host Savannah Guthrie if he and Mila were doing anything in paticular to prepare Wyatt for her role as big sister, the actor replied, “We’re ok. It’s really exciting. She, like, points to Mila and she’s like ‘baby brother’ when she points to the belly and then she points to Dad and she goes ‘beer.’ So I think she gets there’s something in the belly, but I don’t quite think she knows that it’s not going to be a plastic doll yet.”

Woah… baby brother? Either Wyatt is predicting the future, or the couple are openly telling folks that they’re expecting a baby boy. Either way, we’re very excited.

Ashton also admitted that he was “a little terrified” at the thought of having another child, or at least, at the thought of losing out on even more sleep. “I thought the first one was exhausting in the beginning,” he recalled.

Of course, Ashton has previously described parenthood as an “epic” experience and “the greatest privilege life has to offer,” so we doubt he’s too terrified.
