Kate Middleton Has Sparked An Unexpected Plastic Surgery Trend
Apparently more and more people are asking cosmetic surgeons for 'The Duchess'.
Whether you like it or loathe it, celebrity culture has a massive effect on our lives and influences everything from the clothes we wear, the food we eat and even the classes we take at the gym.
In recent years, that desire to look like our favourite celebrities has seen more and more people go under the knife to achieve a specific aesthetic.
Kylie Jenner sparked it when her admission to having injectable lip fillers prompted record numbers to have the same procedure, and now Kate Middleton is apparently having the same effect.
The Kate-inspired surgery more and more people are asking for? Nose jobs.
The Mirror reports that there has been a 15% rise in rhinoplasty operations in the past year, and the most popular nose shape requested by patients is the Duchess – named after K Middy herself.
So popular is Kate’s specific nose shape in fact, that it’s more requested than Scarlett Johansson, Rihanna, Angelina Jolie and J-LO’s respective sniffers.
Why’s her hooter so desirable? Chatting to The Telegraph Harley Street Cosmetic Surgeon Dr Julian De Silva explained that it’s “almost mathematically perfect,” and features a 106-degree tip which previous research has found to be the most attractive.
Sigh. Marrying a prince and having the world’s most perfect nose. Some people have all the luck.
