Taylor Swift Has A New TV Show, But No-One Can Figure Out What It’s About
Confusing, much?
Taylor Swift’s extended hiatus from music continues, but she’s still in the limelight thanks to some ongoing sponsorship deals. The singer performed a one-off concert in partnership with AT&T last month, and has just launched a brand new TV show with the media company too… or at least, something resembling a TV show.
Yesterday Taylor retweeted a message from the media giant about #TaylorSwiftNOW, “a new destination for unique and never seen videos.” The message came after AT&T announced details of its new internet TV streaming service, which includes collaborations for “original content” with celebrities like Taylor Swift and Reese Witherspoon.

Confused? So is the rest of the world, it seems. Some outlets are calling Taylor’s venture a “new TV show”:
While others are calling it a “TV channel”:
Teen Vogue reckon it’s a “website or app”:
While AT&T didn’t reveal much, they did say the collaboration would take the form of “13 episodes featuring behind-the-scenes footage and commentary featuring Swift herself,” according to The Verge.
Aside from the retweet, Taylor has kept tight-lipped about the collab so far, though she did release some original content of her own on Instagram over the weekend. Well, sorta. The singer took on the Mannequin Challenge over Thanksgiving with the help of her brother Austin and pals Lily Donaldson, Martha Hunt and Todrick Hall, and pretty much nailed it:
