Moving In? Cheryl’s Childcare Plan For Her New Baby Is Raising A Few Eyebrows
She and Liam welcomed a baby boy on Wednesday.
It finally happened! The news we’d all been waiting for flooded our news feeds over the weekend when both Cheryl and Liam announced on Instagram that they’d welcomed a baby boy earlier in the week.
“On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream,” Cheryl wrote on her Instagram.
Liam shared a similar message on his page, writing “My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow! I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.”
Aww, we’re delighted for the happy couple.
Now, as the couple have brought their new bundle of joy home, it’s been revealed how they plan to care for their little bub, and sadly keyboard warriors have been out in force as a result.
According to The Sun, Cheryl will be moving her mum Joan into their home to help care for the baby.
“Joan will be very much on hand to help out Cheryl and Liam during the early stages of the baby’s life. It’s not going to be forever, but Joan has a room in the house and will be staying for however long she’s needed,” a source confirms.
Loads of fans have taken to Twitter to blast Cheryl and Liam for the decision, calling them “lazy”.
@danwootton she’s pathetic. It’s not like she has to go to work. Shows how loved the baby is. She should want to do it all herself.

Our thoughts? It’s up to Cheryl and Liam how they plan to raise their little one, we’re just hoping they’ll share loads of pics in the process!
UPDATE: Cheryl has since confirmed to OK! Online that her mother will NOT be moving into her and Liam’s family home. A rep for the singer said: “The story on Joan moving in with Liam and Cheryl is fabricated. There is no truth to it.” So there you have it, looks like Liam and Cheryl will be hands on parents after all.
