A-Ha! So This Is Why Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Weren’t Seated Together During Their First Public Appearance
They were seated several rows apart.
Fans waiting for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s first public appearance together over the weekend were left sorely disappointed.
The Prince and his girlfriend of over a year were due to appear together at the Invictus Games but were sadly seated rows apart. Instead Prince Harry was seated next to Melania Trump and Justin Trudeau in the VIP box, while Meghan sat several rows ahead of the Prince.

But fortunately it isn’t a bad sign that the couple weren’t sitting next to each other. Quite simply, Meghan was seated away from the VIP area because she isn’t a royal or a dignitary, and it would have breached protocol for her to sit next to Harry, the First Lady and the Canadian PM.
Plus, despite being metres away from her beau, it’s reported that Meghan did have a royal protection officer next to her, which shows she’s already being treated as a member of the family.
With such kind treatment from the Royals we’re almost certain that a Royal engagement is on the cards.
