Last week they made their first official appearance and experts have picked up on a clue that suggests the couple may have already taken the next step in their relationship.

Meghan sat three rows away from her beau Harry at the Invictus Games over the weekend, but was apparently protected by several agents from the secret service.

According to experts this kind of protection is something that’s usually only offered to members of the Royal family, or partners who are set to become Royal.

Long story short, as a non-Royal Meghan would not be afforded tax payer protection, unless she and Harry were set to marry. So there you have it: news of a Royal engagement may be more imminent than we think.
