Not Ok! Chris Brown Is Being SLAMMED For *This* Birthday Gift To His Three-Year-Old Daughter

Chris Brown is no stranger to controversy, so it may come as no surprise that he is being called out online for what people are calling a ‘very irresponsible’ gift for his three-year-old daughter, Royalty.

The R’n’B artist shared a video to Instagram of his adorable little girl with a baby monkey. That’s right, a monkey.

Call us old-fashioned, but we were more of a kitten or puppy kind of child, right?

Well it seems as if Chris’ followers had the same idea, as he came under serious fire in the comment section.

“It is so cruel to have a monkey as a pet …. miserable.” one fan wrote.

While another added:  “That monkey, Was torn away from ITS Mom, so you could have it … … Shame Chris, shame,”

“This poor baby Monkey belongs with its family in a natural habitat. It is not a domesticated animal such as a dog or cat and in no way should be a pet or promoted as a pet.”
