It’s Pride Month! Here Are All The Celebs Stepping Out To Celebrate the LGBTQ+ Community
Time to celebrate in colour!
It’s officially pride month and pride parades are being held all over the world to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
From attending the parades, posting colourful snaps, and making statements on stage, celebrities have come out in their droves to lend their support to Pride.
Lady Gaga
At the New York Pride parade, Lady Gaga came out in full rainbow colour to celebrate outside the old NY restaurant she used to waitress and bartend at. Just look at that eyeshadow!
Cynthia Nixon
The SATC star took to the streets of NYC at their annual pride parade yesterday. She was also pictured celebrating at the Buffalo Pride parade earlier in the summer and is a strong member of the LGBTQ+ community.
Christina Aguilera
The singer made a surprise appearance at LA pride and the crowd went wild. I mean, look at that outfit.
Taylor Swift
During her stadium Reputation tour in Chicago, Taylor celebrated Pride on stage:
It’s very brave to be vulnerable about your feelings, in any sense, in any situation, but it’s even more brave to be honest about your feelings and who you love when you know that that might be met with adversity from society.

The pop singer posted a photo on Instagram of herself in a Pride t-shirt to wish everyone a happy pride month. In the post she said that her LGBTQ+ fans inspire her endlessly.
Ariana Grande
As part of Pride month, Billboard asked Ariana to write an open letter about what the LGBTQ+ community means to her. In the letter she said:
My music being embraced and celebrated by the LGBTQ community is all I ever truly cared about when I thought about my career goals early on. There’s no award I could win or accolade I could receive that would fulfil me more than seeing a 6-foot queen with a 4-foot ponytail walk into my meet’n’greet and say “Hey girl” or meeting a young queer person at Starbucks and them letting me know that my music has helped them become who they are. Literally nothing.
Mariah Carey
The super star kicked off her celebration of Pride month with a throwback post of her colourful album cover for 1999’s Rainbow.
Ellen Page

The Olympic figure skater gave a shout out to Pride with a cute snap of himself and his boyfriend with a LGBTQ+ badge. These two are just adorable.
The Dublin Pride parade is taking place on Saturday Jun 30 at 2pm and going from St Stephens Green to Smithfield. Time to get your rainbow flag out!
