Model Candice Swanepoel Has Hit Back At Trolls Criticising Her Post-Baby Tummy

Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel has had to defend herself from trolls criticising her body just 12 days after she gave birth to her second child.

Last week, the supermodel was snapped on the beach in a white and red bikini while while she was enjoying some down time.

After spotting some negative remarks about her body online, Candice took to her Instagram story to tell the commenters to ‘check’ themselves.

This is me 12 days after having my son. If you have something bad to say about it…check yourself. Society can be so cruel to one another. Beauty standards are sometimes impossible for women these days.

I’m not ashamed to show my post partum tummy. I am proud actually… I carried my son for nine months in there. I think I’ve earned the right to have a little tummy.

In a second post the model shared a picture of herself on the beach while pregnant and added, “I don’t have to hide my stomach just because people have unrealistic standards of woman.”
