Pete Davidson giving Ariana Grande his late father’s chain has been causing a lot of bother – the latest is that he also gave it to his ex Cazzie David. Erm.
Pete’s dad was a firefighter who died during the 9/11 attacks, so naturally the necklace bearing his badge number means a lot to Pete. He recently posted an Instagram photo of Ariana wearing it – she also got a tattoo of the numbers 8418 to honour Pete’s father:

One Instagram commenter told him it was ‘disrespectful’ to give Ariana the chain, to which he said:
For ur information that’s not just some girl. That’s my fiance. She’s the greatest person I know. I gave it to her because she has my heart and that is the most precious thing I own. My dad would be so happy and love her so much.
Now, another commenter has accused him of giving the very same chain to Cazzie David – but apparently, she got a replica, while Ariana is wearing the real deal.
The one that Ari has is the one my dad actually died in and the one he wore his entire career and the one I’ve worn for 17 years. I’ve actually never taken it off other than for SNL or work. So, it means a lot of me. Hope this helps. Please learn to be nicer and not to assume the worst in people, it’s a terrible way to live.
This relationship continues to be fascinating.
Love Island’s Camilla Thurlow is here to dispel the myth that you can’t be on Love Island and also be smart and hard-working. (Haven’t we told you enough times that women contain multitudes? JEEZ.)
Responding to a tweet comparing the young women on Love Island (why is it always young women who get this crap, SMDH) to Serena Williams, Camilla said:
Please remember that you don’t need to take someone else’s perception of success and try to fit your dreams and aspirations into their box… I’m so glad and so lucky I didn’t decide I was the ‘wrong fit’ for Love Island or for Explosive Ordnance Disposal based on someone else’s perception and interpretation of who I am.
“Trying to make sense of everything blinds us to nuance,” she continued. “You can reinvent, you can change, you can grow, you can be any number of things at any particular time.”

Eminem doesn’t know how to take a selfie. He had the amazing opportunity to get a picture of himself, 50 Cent, and Ed Sheeran together, and instead… we got this.
Thank you @edsheeran and @50cent for joining my collection of legendary selfies #selfie🐐 pic.twitter.com/Zfk7QQIskk

What’s worse is he calls it a ‘legendary selfie’ and himself the ‘#selfieGOAT’ (greatest of all time). Oh Marshall. Oh my dear boy.
And now it’s time for… #SponConCorner
Who’s flogging what, and why?!
Here’s an interesting one – Irish influencers Suzanne Jackson and Louise Cooney have both been named as official ambassadors/influencers for Victoria’s Secret. They both had to pose in the same bra in front of a sunset, for some reason, but sure we won’t begrudge any woman a year of free knickers.
