Ariana Grande Has Dropped A New Song Based On Her Diss Of Pete Davidson
Ariana Grande is back to her absolute best since ditching fiance Pete Davidson, and her latest move is probably our favourite ever.
The No Tears Left To Cry singer, who has had a pretty hard time of it over the past few years, recently split with fiance of two months Pete Davidson, and was having none of his supposed SNL skit addressing their relationship.
The star last week tweeted some serious shade at Pete, saying she was sick of him mentioning her in an effort t stay relevant, and finished it off with an iconic ‘thank u, next.’
Since then, Pete cancelled the sketch for SNL, and Ari turned her burn into a new hit single – named ‘Thank u, next.’
We’re already obsessing over the bop, but there are some pretty telling lyrics in their.
“Thought I’d end up with Sean
But he wasn’t a match
Wrote some songs about Ricky
Now I listen and laugh
Even almost got married
And for Pete I’m so thankful
Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm [Miller]
Cause he was an angel,”
“One taught me love
One taught me patience
And one taught me pain
Now I’m so amazing
Say I’ve loved and I’ve lost
But that’s not what I see
So look what I got
Look what you taught me
And for that I say.”
Addressing not just her split from Pete, but also her previous relationships to rapper Big Sean and the late Mac Miller, Ariana says how thankful she is for her exes.
We hope she’s indulging in some well deserved self-care.
