You Need To See This Video Of Jason Derulo Singing Classical Opera
"Should I do a classical project one day?"
The European Music Awards took place in Spain on Sunday night, and although it didn’t seem like too much of an eventful award show, one thing we need to bring your attention to is Jason Derulo’s performance.
Some of the biggest stars of the music industry, including Camila Cabello, Lindsay Lohan and Nicki Minaj, showed up at the annual awards, which were hosted by Hailee Steinfeld.
Jason Derulo took to the stage to perform Goodbye, his collaboration with Nicki Minaj and David Guetta. However, he surprised viewers as he got on stage and started singing opera classic ‘Time to say goodbye’ by Andrea Bocelli.
Of course it was all simply the intro to his R&B performance with Nicki and David, however people were still shook.
How did Jason Derulo go from singing talk dirty to me, to nailing opera. I Stan an icon

Jason shared the video of his performance on Facebook, informing his skeptical fans that he has been trained classically for as long as he can remember.
“Last night was such a moment. I showed you a side of me that’s been burning within for a long time. I was trained classically (operatically) and have sang classical music since I can remember. My mom has wanted me to show this side for a long time so she cried happy tears last night. Love you momma! The reception has been amazing! Should I do a classical project one day?”
