The Pope Has Said That Mary Was The ‘First Influencer’ & Here Are The Best Responses
The influencer of god, apparently.
So Pope Francis has made a rather odd statement about the Virgin Mary and social influencers…. yep, wild.
@Pontifex on Twitter (Cool Pope), tweeted out that Jesus’ mother was effectively the first ever influencer, and an influencer of God. Still with us?
With her “yes”, Mary became the most influential woman in history. Without social networks, she became the first “influencer”: the “influencer” of God. #Panama2019

Now, we’re no religious experts, but this all seems a bit gas to us. Is Pope Francis trying to kick it with the kids, or is he really just equating Mary to Zoella? Who knows…
Nevertheless, Twitter dot com came through with some hilarious responses, because of course it did.
In the wise words of a fellow Tweeter, what a time to be alive!
