Avril Lavigne Has Responded To Those Rumours She Died And Was Replaced By A Clone
Sounds exactly like something a clone would say.
Avril Lavigne has finally addressed those rumours that she died and was replaced by a clone.
The rumour began back in 2005 when Avril ditched her grubby tomboy look for blonde hair and a glam rock chick style. People thought it would be simply too unrealistic for Avril’s style to evolve, therefore attributed her change in appearance to her being replaced by a clone…seriously.
After her first album dropped, people began speculating that Avril was found dead by her record label and, because she was growing in success and working on a second album, decided to replace her with a clone called Melissa.
Avril (or Melissa) has finally responded to the rumours, which have been circulating for over a decade now, saying that they’re not true. Sounds like something a clone would say if you ask us..
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she said:
“More like that it’s just a dumb internet rumour and [I’m] flabbergasted that people bought into it.
“Isn’t that so weird? It’s so dumb. And I look the exact same.
“On one hand, everyone is like, ‘Oh my god, you look the same,’ and on the other hand people are like ‘Oh my god, she died.’”

Well there you have it, Avril didn’t die, she just grew tf up.
