Kylie Minogue Has Launched A Cosmetic Line After A Legal Battle With Kylie Jenner
The Aussie singer's products start at €13!
Iconic pop star Kylie Minogue has released her own range of makeup after a long legal battle with Kylie Jenner.
This comes after the Aussie took action in 2016 to block Jenner from trademarking the name Kylie.
The I Believe In You singer won the case in 2017 and both women were able to use the name for their products and services.
So now Kylie Cosmetics has some competition with KYLIE makeup. Confused yet?
Minogue’s range is smaller than the reality star’s, right now it includes a lip oil, a lip gloss, a face glitter, a cheek and lip balm and three eye shadows.
She took to Twitter to announce the news:
YES! ✨Get your #Summer2019 SPARKLE on! ‘Magnetic Electric’ eyeshadow in three colours to hypnotise! Head to MERCH(andise) at https://t.co/yoMTAwL0GR to see more! pic.twitter.com/bJrUittrlD

Now before you go thinking there’s a big rift between the Kylies, the singer has stressed it’s nothing personal.
“I’ve never met Kylie Jenner. I’ve never met any member of the family… actually, I’ve met Kendall just in passing at a fashion event, but I honestly don’t know them,” she told Rolling Stone in 2018.
“It’s awkward because fans get so loyal and vocal, and we love that! But it was nothing personal at all, I’m at pains to say.”
“Trademark is long, it’s boring, it’s expensive, and it’s really important. I’ve been doing that for years and years. It was just causing confusion with customers. As long as it’s clear, then we can all win,” she added.
This comes just days after it emerged that Kylie Jenner is reportedly selling her business.
The star is reportedly looking at selling Kylie Cosmetics for $600 million to Coty Inc.
Kylie would reportedly hold onto 49% of the company, so she would still have control of the company and rake in the profits.
Pretty sweet deal tbf.
