Derry Girls Creator Lisa McGee Is Working On A New Thriller Series
It's a far cry from Derry Girls but we think you're gonna love it!
Lisa McGee is one of Ireland’s favourite tv writers having created the much-loved Derry Girls.
The writer’s next project however is set to be very different from the hugely popular comedy.
Lisa is currently working on a thriller which she wrote with her husband, actor and writer Tobias Beer.

It’s been described as a contemporary psychological thriller and is set between the spires of Cambridge and the eerie wilds of rural Donegal.
We’re hooked already.
It follows a young English student, Ophelia, who falls in love with her married lecturer Michael. When their affair results in a shocking death, Ophelia finds herself trapped in a world where she can no longer trust her own mind.
The four-part thriller will air on Virgin Media this autumn as part of their new season.
