Here’s Who Will Be Replacing Jamie Laing On This Year’s Strictly Come Dancing

Last night saw 2019 Strictly Come Dancing kick off, and we’re already dying for what the new series is to bring!

All of the celebs were paired up with their professionals, and there’s already some interesting chemistry floating around the dance hall!

But the story of Strictly so far has been Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing being forced to pull out just after the launch show due to a foot injury that will leave him in recovery for up to eight weeks.

As last night’s show had been pre recorded, Jamie was seen in flying form as he was partnered up with Oti Mabuse.

But fear not, producers have come up with a replacement for the reality star, and soap fans will be over the moon!

Emmerdale star Kevin Fletcher will be taking to the dance floor in Jamie’s place – and we’re not in any way disappointed!

Speaking after the news broke, Jamie revealed that he was devastated to have been forced to pull out.

“I’m absolutely devastated that I’m unable to continue in the competition, I was so excited to hit the dance floor!

“I would like to wish the lovely couples all the very best and hope they enjoy their time on the show to the fullest.”
