Meghan Markle’s Exciting New Job Has Just Been Confirmed

Since stepping down from her royal title, we’re loving watching all the incredible things Meghan Markle has accomplished. From returning to acting for the Disney film Elephant, to volunteering in Los Angeles, where she now resides, Meghan has made charity work and her love for acting her priorities again, and her latest deal is one we’re excited to see her take on.

Confirming to be taking part in Girl Up Global Leadership Summit, Meghan Markle will speak in the three-day event which focuses on gender equality, and inspiring young women to be the force that brings about change. With the initiative working alongside 65,000 girls across the United States, this is a massive movement and one of the first public speaking engagements for the Duchess since leaving her senior royal title.

So far we know that both Michelle Obama and Meghan’s friend Priyanka Chopra will also be taking part in the summit which is happening this month from July 13 to 15.

Since stepping down from their senior royal titles, Meghan and Harry now work on behalf of themselves and not the royal family. Loosing their HRH titles and Sussex brand, the pair have now signed with New York-based Harry Walker agency who looks after their agendas.

The same agency manages Barack and Michelle Obama as well as Hilary and Bill Clinton.
