Buffy Fans Get Excited, It’s Coming To Disney Plus

We’re now at the point of pandemic TV watching where we’ve even completed rewatches of our favourite shows. We’ve already revisited Stranger Things and The US Office on Netflix and are quickly running out of options.

As it’s looking like rain for at least the next week (the weather is really doing a number on us this lockdown) there are plenty more cosy days on the sofa ahead of us.

Luckily, if you have a Disney Plus subscription the streaming service will soon be adding cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer! A heavy dose of nostalgia is exactly what we need right now to distract from Covid anxiety.

To be exact, the streaming platform are actually launching a new ‘general entertainment brand’ called Star which will have a whole host of new shows to watch if you’re not a Buffy fan.

These include 75 TV series like Grey’s Anatomy, Family Guy, Lost and The X-Files. There will also be almost 300 films to choose from such as The Favourite, Pretty Woman, The Devil Wears Prada, Moulin Rouge and The Grand Budapest Hotel.

This new part of the service does however come at a cost, with their price increasing from €6.99 p/m to €8.99 p/m.

It will be available here from the 23rd of February!
