STELLAR Writers Share Update On Their Hair Tranformation With Aussie

STELLAR Promotion: We're putting Aussie's hero ranges to the test

STELLAR writers Adele and Amie are now one month into their two-month hair journey with Aussie. Challenging themselves to address their hair needs using a specific Aussie range, we’re now halfway through the hair transformation and the girls have some updates to share.

Let’s see how they’ve been getting on.

Adele is using: SOS Range & 3-Minute Miracle Moisture Treatment

I’m one month into my hair care journey with Aussie, and I have to say, I’m seeing some changes! (good ones, that is).

As I said in my first post, my hair is blonde – meaning it’s generally quite dry and damaged, it’s naturally poker straight, and generally quite fine. So, when I use hair products, I look for ones that give my hair a bit of a lift and bounce, which is what I feel the Aussie SOS range and Three Minute Miracle Moisture Treatment does!

Just like Amie, I too am trying to not wash my hair too much either, using lockdown as an excuse to train my hair into going longer in between washes. When I do hop into the shower, I take a pea-sized amount of the SOS Kiss Of Life shampoo, massage it into my scalp and rinse, repeat that twice. Then afterwards I take a good dollop of the Three Minute Miracle Moisture Treatment apply it to my ends and let it sit for up to five minutes. Once I wash that out, I lock in all the moisture with the SOS Kiss Of Life Conditioner.

To ‘style’ my hair I simply add some heat protectant and give it a blow-dry after washing, sometimes I’ll be fancy and use a round brush to dry it as I did in the pictures above and I’m good to go, quarantine-hun ready! I haven’t seen my hairdresser for around 5 months now *screams*, and I really expected my hair to be in quite a state at this point, but, to my delight, it kind of isn’t? And I put that all down to Aussie. My hair feels light and bouncy after using the products and one month in there’s a definite spring in both my step AND locks.

Amie is using: Calm The Frizz Range

I’ve not been washing my hair too much while staying indoors. Partly because I’m too lazy and no one really sees it anyway, and partly because it’s not meant to be oh-so-great to wash your hair too much anyway. But on each hair washing day, I’ve been using the full Calm The Frizz range: the shampoo, conditioner, and the Three Minute Miracle Treatment.

Each and every time, it leaves my hair so soft and silky. Almost too silky, to the point where I can’t stop touching it, which will only result in me having to wash it even sooner.

Hands down, my favourite product so far is the Calm The Frizz Three Minute Miracle Treatment. I’m lazy when it comes to my hair, so that kind of treatment where you have to dampen your hair, apply the treatment and sit around for hours before washing it out aren’t really for me. This is great because it’s just another addition after you condition your hair. All you have to do is pop it in for three minutes while you’re in the shower. Then get ready to say hello to smooth, silky, and most importantly healthy-looking hair.

So far, my hair is definitely smoother and the frizz has calmed down. So I’m delighted, the frizzy hairs only make the WFH hun bun worse!

Over the next 2 months, Adele and Amie will be trialling their ranges and documenting their haircare journey. So, be sure to keep an eye here and on our Instagram page for regular updates on their process.

Aussie is available to buy from Irish retailers such as Boots, Dunnes Stores, Tesco, Supervalu, and Superdrug.
