Hurrah, Penneys has reopened its doors nationwide today. Following a tough five months in lockdown, which saw retailers lock up and cease in person trading for the foreseeable, with no clear indication as to when they’d see people fill their stores once more, today marks a new beginning for businesses across the country.
As retailers ease back today with click and collect and the likes of shopping by appointment, Penneys is thrilled to be once again serving the people of Ireland and you can be sure we’ll be stocking up on all the things we love once again; cue a major socks and knickers haul.
Opening up its appointment schedule on Friday, May 7th, Penneys received major traffic, causing serious digital queues when it came to booking an appointment, with the majority of people waiting over one hour to secure their slot.
A sure sign that it was a good idea to create a booking service and sort out as many people as possible before the queueing begins on May 17th.
