Chris Taylor Reacts To ‘Keyboard Warriors’ Following Split From Maura Higgins

The Love Islander called out trolls for 'abusing people from the safety of your own bedroom'.

A few weeks following the announcement that Chris Taylor and Maura Higgins ended their seven month romance, the former Love Islander is slamming ‘keyboard warriors’ for their cruel and targeted comments online.

As a former contestant of the popular ITV show in 2019, Chris is no stranger to the nasty messages and digs that seem to target everyone who was catapulted into the spotlight following their stay in the villa. But now, after going through a very public breakup with fellow star Maura Higgins, it looks as though Chris has had enough of the unwarranted commentary.

Taking to Instagram, the star posted one of his skit videos, showing what trolls think he’s doing when they’re being mean Vs what he’s actually doing.

Roping in Micheal Griffiths to join him for the video, the pair can be seen messing about as the dance in their car to Meghan Trainor’s Me Too.

“Obvs I’m taking the p!ss but on a slightly more serious note, if YOU ARE (not your) one of the keyboard warriors of the world w@nking into bags of twiglets and abusing people from the safety of your bedroom…trust me, you’re only hurting yourself. Best of luck for the future, I hope you have a really happy life,” the 30-year-old captioned the post.

Taking to Instagram to reveal the pair had parted ways earlier this month, Chris wrote:

“After some very heartfelt conversations over the past few days, myself and Maura are very sad to announce that we have decided to part ways.”

“We are both still on very good terms and this was a mutual decision where nobody had done anything wrong.”

And it looks like the pair are remaining on good terms with Maura liking Chris’ most recent video, and noting that she wants them to continue having a good friendship.

For the moment, it looks as though Maura is currently residing in Cheshire, staying at Molly-Mae’s home. You can read more here.
