Travis Barker Takes First Flight In 13 Years After Plane Crash Nearly Cost Him His Life

Travis Barker was all praise for girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian over the weekend, as she helped the Blink 182 drummer to tackle a major fear – getting back on a plane.

Boarding Kylie Jenner’s private jet alongside some close KarJenner family members, a recent trip to Mexico marked Travis’ first time on a plane in 13 years.

“With you anything is possible🖤 @kourtneykardash,” Travis titled the photo of the pair kissing and embracing in front of the plane.

Agreeing with Travis, Kourtney reshared and replied to the snap adding: “anything and everything with you @travisbarker 🖤”

In 2008, four out of six people onboard a private jet heading back to Los Angeles from South Carolina crashed, killing two of Travis’ close friends and colleagues, his security guard Charles ‘Che’ Still, and his assistant Chris Baker, as well as the pilot and co-pilot Sarah Lemmon and James Bland.

The crash occurred during take-off when the plane suffered a tire blow out. The only two to survive the crash were Travis and his friend Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein.

Suffering serious wounds that caused the star to end up in hospital for three months, Travis suffered third degree burns on 65 percent of his body, undergoing 26 surgeries to mend the star.
