How do Irish bloggers deal with dry skin and a dull complexion? We found out...

Dramatic Mac

Winter can be a tough season for our poor skin, now that the temperatures are getting colder our skin is getting drier and our diet has become one of indulgence and self-pity too, which sadly doesn’t bode well for our complexions. That’s why we’ve looked to our fave-o #bbloggers to find out how they deal with those nasty winter skin demons.

Here are their top four products.

1. Glamglow mud mask

This mud mask comes highly recommended by the glam siobhanmakeup. The mask hydrates, nourishes, restores, replenishes and calms your skin. At €56 it’s quite pricey, but having tried and tested it ourselves, we can say it’s totally worth it! It’s available to buy online at millies.ie.

2. Clarins instant smooth self-tanning

Becca from the beautyinbox.com recommends this to get that natural summer look in winter. It’s another pricey one at €78 but who can put a price on a healthy glow in the depths of winter, eh? We love the richness of this cream, which is prefect for our dry, winter-blasted skin. Head over to Debenhams to nab it.

3. Botanics radiance balm

This is a personal fave of the talented Aisling from Dramatic M.A.C. She raves about it and uses it as the base for her foundation. You’ll be able to get this beauty essential for only €6.99 at Boots.ie – Yay!

Faces by Grace  reminds us just how important it is to look after our mitts, after all they do most of the hard work don’t they? Her fave product is Crabtree and Evelyn Lavender hand lotion, head over to Crabtree and Evelyn London to buy it for only €21. We say dab it on elbows, knees and any other areas that are prone to dry skin too. It’s more hydrating than your regular lotion.
