A-HA! This Fake Tan Hack Means You’ll Never Again Have Those Dodgy Brown Dots After Tanning
Buh-bye horrible tan-clogged pores.
When it comes to tanning you know the drill. First you gotta shave your legs and exfoliate and then you want to slather on loadsa moisturiser to avoid any streaks or dry patches.
But here’s the kicker: when you shave you open up all your pores and once you apply tan onto your silky smooth pins, it gets all clogged up and causes those nasty brown dots.
Thankfully you don’t have to choose between being pale and prickly.
Instead you simply “seal” up your pores to stop the tan getting trapped in there.
Self-tanning pro James Read tells Bydrie that if you’re freshly shaved, you should run a packet of frozen peas (yes, really) down your legs prior to applying your fake tan.
He explains “This will seal the pores in your legs, so you don’t end up with those annoying dots after self-tanning.”
Hey, if it gives us a flawless sun-kissed glow then we’re willing to give it a go!
