My Daily Beauty Regime: Rosie Connolly, Blogger And Model
With nearly 75K Instagram followers and a contract with Andrea Roche Model Agency, we had to get the deets on Rosie Connolly's everyday beauty routine.
Morning skincare
“My morning skincare routine is less detailed than my night routine, purely because I have my little one year old with me so it’s a dash and grab. I tend to cleanse my face first thing with the Liz Earle Cleanse And Polish, followed by my Image Skincare moisturiser which also has SPF32 to protect my skin each day. I let that soak in, and then begin my make-up routine.
Daily make-up
“My everyday make-up is generally the same, as it’s quick and easy when I’m on the go! I use the Stila Stay All Day Foundation because it does what it says on the tin: Stays all day!
“My favorite mascara is the Lancôme Hypnose mascara, and my everyday eyeshadow is always Urban Decay Riff eyeshadow. It’s a very warm orangey brown and makes my blue eyes pop when I’m wearing little else on my eyes.
“For brows I’m loving the combination of Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade in blonde, with the Inglot AMC Brow Gel in shade 16. I apply both products using an angled liner brush.
“My lips are generally a nude tone with my everyday make-up, and I love MAC Stripdown Liner for adding definition.
Application
“I always start with my brows, then move on to my foundation and concealer. Then it’s eyeshadow and mascara. I sometimes curl my lashes to open up my eyes a bit more. Next I contour and highlight, followed by my blusher. My last step is to line my lips and then apply my lipstick or gloss and I’m done. It sounds like a lot for an everyday make-up but I have it down to just 10 or 15 minutes now.”
