The temperatures are changing and so are our wardrobes. As we veer towards pumpkin spice latte season, we’re seeing shop rails replace crop tops with chunky knits and light sweatshirts with winter jackets.

Yes, we didn’t think we’d ever be ready to say goodbye to summer, but the quick drop in temperature over the past few weeks has made it easier for us to bid farewell to last season and welcome a new one.

So, as we begin our AW20 shopping, we couldn’t help but notice some of the new pieces that have landed into Penneys’ stores and are already going down a treat with fans.

Dropping  in three autumnal shades, Penneys has launched a new heel that we expect to see everywhere this season. The low rise, faux leather sandal features a knot tie detail at the front and a simple, thin strap over the ankle.

The perfect height for scooting around the place while also looking glam.

And at just €16, we can see ourselves wearing these with jeans and dresses teamed with warm jackets throughout October and November.

The style of these heels is also similar to Topshop’s Rumba heels which sold big over the summer and were spotted on all our favourite Irish influencers.

And as sweater vests are major this season, bringing back another major dad trend, similar to socks and sandals which we’ve seen everywhere this year, Penneys is also putting their fashion foot forward in that department with some chic takes on the sleeveless pullover – ones which would make Chandler Bing smile.
