It’s back on for Courteney Cox and Irish rocker Johnny McDaid, but there’s no sign of wedding bells just yet.

The couple, who called off their 18-month engagement last December, hit the red carpet in Beverly Hills last night as a duo.

“Just look at us. I love her. I’ve always loved her,” Johnny told E! News at the BMI Pop Awards, later telling Us Weekly that the couple were very much “in love” again.

But while the pair happily spoke to reporters about their romantic reunion, there was no sign of Courteney’s engagement ring, a raised diamond-studded gold band which Johnny presented to her back in 2014.

When pressed on the issue, the couple implied they were taking things slowly, with Johnny joking, “Let us win an award first.”

While there’s no official confirmation of the wedding being back on, Johnny and Courteney have indeed been making efforts to reconcile over the last couple of months  – indeed, they were photographed by paparazzi over the Easter weekend in Malibu spending time together with Coco, Courteney’s 11-year-old daughter.

Prior to their split, Courteney and Johnny were strongly rumoured to have booked Ashford Castle in Cong, Co Mayo for their wedding, given Johnny’s roots here in Ireland.

Other potential venues touted included Monagahan’s Castle Leslie, where Paul McCartney wed Heather Mills in 2002, and Ballintubber Abbey, also in Mayo.

Fingers crossed these two make it down the aisle in Ireland – just think of the celeb-spotting opportunities.
