Dig Out The Suncream! It’s Apparently Going To Be A Scorcher Tomorrow
FINALLY.
Wind, rain and clouds… the Holy Trinity of an Irish summer. Yes, our August has been fairly grim-weather wise so far, but we’ve finally got some sunshine coming our way, if only for 48 hours.
According to Met Éireann, Monday’s balmy sunshine will be followed up by an even hotter day on Tuesday August 16th, with predicted temperatures of up to 26 degrees Celsius.
Of course, in typical Irish style, the sun will be teamed with some “hazy clouds,” but hey, we can’t have everything, right?
A word of warning though: the good weather isn’t expected to last beyond tomorrow, so if you’re planning a BBQ or after-work beer garden trip, you had better act fast.
After Tuesday the weather will become more “unsettled and changeable, with temperatures falling back to normal values from midweek, even a little below later in the week,” the Met Éireann forecast predicts.
Well, it wouldn’t be Ireland without some changeable weather, would it? Race you to the beach…
