Er, What?! Here’s Why Kendall Jenner Regularly Deletes All Of Her Social Media Accounts

...And why you should too.

Kendall Jenner’s Instagram feed is home to one of the most liked photos of all time (it’s currently at 3.6m likes, FYI), but that doesn’t mean the reality star is constantly glued to her phone.

In fact, the second-youngest Jenner has a pretty relaxed attitude to social media, at least when it comes to her own usage.

“Sometimes I delete Instagram or Twitter or Snapchat off my phone for a couple days,” she admits in the latest issue of Allure magazine.

The 21-year-old reveals her pet hate is trying to hang out with someone who only has eyes for their smartphone, something we’re guessing she has to deal with a lot, given that she counts Instagram addicts Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne as two of her besties.

“I definitely have close friends, and even some family members, who are so connected to their phone and can’t get off of it,” she says.

I Went Smartphone-Free For 60 Days And This Is What I Learned…

“I find it offensive if you’re with someone at a dinner and they’re just sitting on their phone the whole time,. I take that personally. Like, am I not interesting enough for you to talk to me? It’s so crazy because even though we talk about trying to be present, everyone wants to be in the future now.”

One recent holiday proved especially frustrating for Kendall, who couldn’t understand why her sister Kylie had to be on her phone so much, despite the stunning views all around them.

“I was just zoning out, taking it all in,” Kendall recalls. “And Kylie wouldn’t put her phone down. I’m like, ‘That’s so crazy to me that you’re not experiencing this.’ That was the moment it kind of clicked for me. And I didn’t like it.”

In a Vogue interview back in March, Kendall admitted she often requests phone-free dinners with pals, demanding that everyone present place their phone in a pile in the middle of the table. Of course, she’s allowed to use her phone, but only to take a picture of said pile. For Instagram.

Seems like good logic to us.
