Lady Gaga And Her Fiancé Taylor Kinney Have Split And Love Is Officially Dead

If you’re still reeling from the shock of hearing that Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger had parted ways, then we don’t suggest reading on.

In more sad celebrity break-up news, Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have reportedly ended their engagement.

That’s according to TMZ, who report that Gaga has been spotted twice in recent days without her engagement diamond on show, most notably on July 15th which was in fact Taylor’s 35th birthday.

Add that to the fact that the couple haven’t been pictured together at an event or on social media in weeks, and that various sources “close to the couple” have confirmed the split, and it seems the bad news really is true.

Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta) and Taylor got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2015 after four years together.

The singer seemed ecstatic as she showed off her six-carat heart-shaped diamond on Instagram just days later:

The couple met back in 2011 on the set of Gaga’s You & I music video, and began dating soon after. They split briefly in 2012, but reunited after just a month.

“He is the right guy,” Gaga told Howard Stern last year, adding that she simply had a “feeling” that he was the one.

Maybe this split is just another rough patch á la 2012? We live in hope.
