Uh-Oh: Kylie’s Lip Kits Have Been Hit With Their Worst Review Yet
But will it have a knock-on effect on sales?
Since their first release back in November 2015, Kylie’s Lip Kits have seemed to be nearly permanently sold out. Despite several restocks, only a small percentage of fans have been able to get their hands on the product, and for the lucky customers who did, many of the kits have been stolen during delivery or arrived damaged or incomplete.
And that slew of problems has meant a lot of bad press for Kylie from influencers like Jeffree Star who posted a scathing review about the product in April.
Now though, the Better Business Bureau (a consumer network in the US and Canada) has stepped in and put the company under further scrutiny.

According to TMZ, the BBB has received 137 customer complaints about Kylie’s Lip Kit in the past nine months and despite issuing an alert about the products in May, the brand has failed to step up its game.
Since Kylie’s most recent restock, the BBB have received a further 10 complaints and so have decided to downgrade Kylie’s consumer satisfaction rating from a C to an F. Ouch.
So what does this mean for the future of Kylie’s Lip Kits? Well, while a bad rating from the BBB will certainly damage the company’s creditability, given Kylie’s global influence, we don’t see it having a knock-on effect anytime soon.
