The casting for the movie adaptation of Emily Henry's Beach Read has been revealed... and fans are furious, for some reason.

The new film will star Bridgerton's Phoebe Dynevor and White Lotus' Patrick Schwarzenegger - the latter of which has caused a stir among hardcore fans of the book.

While some are complaining that Schwarzenegger is a Trump supporter (he is not), others are simply saying that the actor is "not cute enough" to play the role of Gus.

Harsh. So, will you be watching?
