Oh dear. We’re cringing hard for poor Zayn Malik this morning. Fans may have noticed that on Sunday the Pillowtalk singer took to Twitter, along with his girlfriend Gigi Hadid, to say a heartfelt thanks for his Best Music Video gong at the iHeartRadio awards.
Speaking to his 2.1 million followers, Zayn thanked his followers for their support and revealed that a “little birdie” had told him he’d won.

That’s super cute ‘n’ all, but as it turns out, Zayn didn’t win the Best Music Video award at all; Fifth Harmony did.
The girl group picked up the gong for their hit Work From Home featuring Ty Dolla $ign.
Congrats #Harmonizers. You helped @fifthharmony win #BestFanArmy, #BestCover and #BestMusicVideo at our #iHeartAwards! pic.twitter.com/dNYXQxU2UX
