Awks! A Comedian Cracked A Taylor Swift Joke In Front Of Calvin Harris And It DID NOT Go Down Well

Time may be a great healer, but with only two months passed since Taylor and Calvin decided to call time on their 18-month relationship, and even less time since Tay started flaunting her new love with Tom Hiddleston, it’s probably fair to say that any mention of Taylor’s name still cuts a little close to the bone for the Scottish DJ.

Unfortunately, one comedian learned first hand the perils of poking fun at a past relationship while presenting Calvin with an award.

Calvin was picking up a Future Icon Award, presented to him by comedian Howie Mandel, when the comic decided to get a dig in.

“That’s a nice suit. Who’s your tailor?” Howie joked, as he was handing Calvin his award. “See what I did?”

OK! reports that Calvin looked less than impressed at the sly jibe, sighing at the ill-timed joke and then turning himself away from the camera, before replying “You got that prepared, you had that one ready.”

Awks. Too soon, Howie. TOO. SOON.

Thankfully, Calvin did eventually seem to see the funny side.
