We Hardly Recognised Maura Higgins With Dramatic Red Hair

Maura Higgins has debuted a new hairstyle on her social media.

Taking a leaf out of the Kar-Jenner’s book, Maura donned a bright red wig on her Instagram stories.

Looking unrecognisable, Maura can be seen rocking the red wig complete with a fringe, while the song ‘Savage’ by Megan Thee Stallion plays in the background.

Whether or not the new look is just for a laugh or real-life, we don’t know yet. But, what we do know is that Maura recently spoke about her hair and the way it currently looks due to lockdown.

Sharing a make-up tutorial with her 2.8 million followers, Maura kept things real, making no attempt to cover up her grey hairs.

Captioning the first story of the tutorial ‘look at those grey hairs’, Maura went on to share how she applies her eyebrows with her fans.

Maura’s wig may be her way of having some fun while covering up her hair as she waits for a hairdressers appointment, but either way, we think she looks fab!

The Longford lady was recently back on home soil this weekend, as she surprised her young niece by attending her birthday party. Admitting that it felt great to be home, Maura said:

“I was working so so hard and I remember I started getting anxiety and everything just from pure exhaustion.

“The best thing I did was, I took a step back. I just said, ‘do you know what I’m having a few days off. I’m going back to Ireland, spending time with my family.”
