Celine Dion Brought The House Down With This Rendition Of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ For Her Late Husband Rene
What a moving performance.
It’s the song that defined her career and the ballad that brings us right back to the first time we sobbed over the touching but ultimately tragic love story of Rose and Jack in Titanic, and now for the first time in absolutely forever Celine Dion has taken to the stage to perform her classic hit ‘My Heart Will Go On’.
Given the passing of Celine’s husband Rene in January, the song’s moving lyrics took on an even deeper meaning.
Speaking of the track, Celine told the audience “‘My Heart Will Go On’ has been an important song in my life for nearly two decades,”
“Now, and tonight, I’m very honoured to sing it for all of you – and for the love of my life. Rene Angelil, you will always be in my heart.”
Check out her heart-rendering performance below.
