Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin Are Engaged!

Zac and Cody of the Suite Life are all grown up – and now one of them has popped the question. Dylan Sprouse, who keeps out of the media much more than his Riverdale actor brother Cole, has been dating Hungarian model Barbara Palvin for five years. And it turns out that they’ve been secretly engaged for nearly a year!

The pair revealed in an interview with V magazine yesterday that Dylan asked Barbara to marry him in September 2022 – though he’d had the ring hidden from her for months beforehand. Aww.

The two met when Dylan slid into Barbara’s DM’s, saying “Hey, I don’t know if you’re in New York for very long, but we should hang out if you want to. Here’s my number.” Funnily enough, Barbara took six months to respond – talk about playing hard to get!

Speaking to why they kept the announcement secret, Barbara said “we just want to do it on our time”, with Dylan adding that they didn’t feel “the need to be transparent with the public about that aspect of our engagement”. While we totally respect their decision to keep things under wraps, we do hope we get a few snaps of the wedding when it eventually comes around!

When asked about tying the knot, Dylan said he’s most nervous about one thing in particular – ‘a choreographed dance”. Adorable.
