‘Faking It Like Hadid’: Fans Think Little Mix Just Threw Shade At Gigi Hadid On Stage

What do you think?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik have history. Their four-year relationship came to a screeching halt when Zayn reportedly called off their engagement via text, before promptly moving on with Gigi Hadid just three months later.

You’ll also likely know that when Little Mix dropped their hit single Shout Out To My Ex earlier this year, it was strongly rumoured that the song was about Zayn, with Perrie’s lyric “I hope she getting better sex, hope she ain’t faking it like I did” believed to be a direct dig aimed at Gigi.

Now, fans reckon Perrie changed the lyrics on stage to shade Gigi again. While performing the song at a concert in New Zealand fans think Perrie actually sings “I hope she ain’t faking it like Hadid” much to the delight of her bandmate Jade who is seen cracking up beside her.

Personally, I can’t hear it but judging by Jade’s reaction it’s perfectly plausible that Perrie said something a little bit cheeky. However, not everyone is buying it with others suggesting Perrie’s voice simply cracked and that’s why Jade is laughing. Hmm.

Of course, it’s not the first time Zayn and Perrie have apparently sent messages to each other via their lyrics. Some fans have joked that in his hit song Pillow Talk, Zayn is actually singing ‘Perrie die’ instead of paradise.

Nice.
