Fashion Fan? This Video Showing 100 Years Of Fashion In 2 Minutes Will Give You Major Outfit Inspo

We’re always on the hunt for new style inspo and this fashion vid made by Mode.com is a fun and fast way of looking at fashion through the years, and – hopefully – getting some fresh outfit inspiration, too.

Starting in 1915 the video moves through the main iconic periods of fashion from the 1920’s flowy dresses and floppy hats, and the tailored two-pieces of the ’40s, to the 1960’s and 1970’s recurring styles of bright colours and jumpsuits.

Then it’s off into the ’80s with its satin and tulle outfits and big, statement hair, the noughties where casual jeans and cardigans reign supreme, and finally finishing off with the modern day style of 2015, that’s complete with smartphone and ripped jeans, natch.

How will we incorporate all of this into our wardrobes? With ’70s continuing to be a major trend this autumn we’ll be on the hunt for a deadly denim jumpsuit, oversized shades and a quirky headscarf, so we can rock a look that’s just like the model’s.
