Fujifilm Introduces INSTAX SQUARE SQ40 Camera And New ‘Sunset’ Instant Film

Looking for a new camera to up your picture game? Your timing couldn’t be better. Iconic camera brand Fujifilm have just announced the launch of its new INSTAX SQUARE SQ40™ instant camera (SQ40), a new addition to the INSTAX SQUARE lineup of instant cameras. Fujifilm has also introduced a new INSTAX SQUARE instant film variety, “Sunset”, featuring a variety of film borders with soft color gradients designed to be reminiscent of a serene, peaceful sunset. How gorgeous does that sound?

Senior Vide President of the company, Shin Udono, said that including a square format option “just made sense”, because of how much people loved the Instax Mini 40 instant camera. What’s great about it is that you can still have an instant camera with a “classic look”, but you get the SQ40’s large, square image area too!

Some of the key SQ40  features include:

• Square, sophisticated design – because you want your camera to look as stylish as you, obvs.

• Simply twist to turn on and off, handy!

• Perfectly positioned selfie mirror, ideal for close ups when you’re feeling extra stunning.

• Twist to activate Selfie mode – just twist the lens after you’ve switched your SQ40 on!

• Automatic exposure! When the shutter button is pressed, this function senses the level of ambient light, meaning you’ll get the best high quality pics on the spot.

• Beautifully exposed SQUARE prints (self explanatory, and how cute?!)

• Black, textured finish. Classy.

As for the new sunset film variety, this design of the new square format instant film is inspired by the gentle gradation of the colours in the sky during a sunset. AKA, your pics will be super romantic and beautiful and you’ll barely have to try. As with all INSTAX SQUARE instant film varieties, Sunset will be available in a single pack with 10 exposures.

Aside from all the new products Fujifilm are exciting us with, they’ve also decided to release their FUJIFILM INSTAX MINI EVO hybrid instant camera (MINI EVO) in brown! (The neutral girlies are screaming.)

For those of you who haven’t experienced the joy of the MINI EVO, it’s unique hybrid format combines the satisfaction of a traditional instant camera with the capabilities of digital technology, so you can select, share, and store specific images. Your images can even be printed from a paired smartphone camera roll if you use the INSTAX MINI EVO app. Genius.
